AN ENTIRELY REASONABLE QUESTION

WHAT DO
YOU EVEN
DO?

Websites. Mostly.
Then things get out of hand.

OKAY, SHOW ME ↗

YES, THAT'S ME.

ONE IDEA.
A lot of me.

I started building Cortiva.
Then kept going.
And I’m still going.

CORTIVA / THE PRODUCT FILMCORTIVA.

The film is on its way.
I’m finishing it.

A LITTLE MORE TIME IN THE EDIT.
MY PRODUCT / MOBILE APP + BACKEND

YES, I BUILT IT.
YES, ON MY OWN.

I’m building Cortiva to keep a real day connected: what’s happening now, what changed, and what comes next. Today, the timeline, the map and Raya all work around that same day.

I’ve been doing the product, design and development myself — the app, the backend, and all the decisions in between. I’m still developing it.

I’m considering acquisition and licensing, and I’m open to a team that wants to take Cortiva further. If that sounds like your kind of conversation, let’s talk.

Nobody asked for these.
I just wanted my computer to do a few things my way.

A LITTLE ISLAND.
A LOT GOING ON.

A home for what’s playing. I built my own Dynamic Island for Linux, with an expandable view and media controls.

INTERACTIVE RECREATION / REAL TOOLS, REIMAGINED FOR THIS PAGE.GTK · GNOME · AIRPLAY / UXPLAY · A PHONE REMOTE

I built these for my Linux setup. I’d like other people to have a go, too.

“Couldn’t you just use the mouse?”   Probably.

A CLEAN
START.

SITECLEAN / SERVICE WEBSITE

I built a website for a cleaning business, with a simple way to put together a request and send it straight to WhatsApp.

LESS GUESSING.
More going.

Ternopil ↔ Pidhorodne.
A timetable you can actually use.
Because “it should be here soon” isn’t a time.

PUBLIC WEB TOOL / LOCAL TRANSPORT

WHEN’S THE BUS?
FAIR QUESTION.

I built this web app for people in Pidhorodne — the small village in Ukraine where I’m from.

I wanted people to check when the bus is scheduled before leaving home, instead of standing in the freezing cold for half an hour, wondering when it might turn up.

OPEN THE BUS WEBSITE ↗

I added directions, stops, route filters and departure countdowns. The public version uses a static timetable; it doesn’t track buses live.

01 / THE EARLY YEARS

GRANDAD SAW
IT COMING.

An engineer in the family. A small inventor at the table. Someone really should have brought a notebook.

01
A FAILURE WITH A SIDE BENEFIT

THE PROJECT FAILED.
I QUIT SMOKING.

I used to judge smokers. Then I became one. That eventually led me to build VacantWellnes. The project didn’t work out, but I did quit smoking.

A failed project. A pretty good outcome.
Also: maybe judge people a little less.

02
THE ORIGINAL CONTENT STRATEGY

AGE 12.
CAMERA ON.

I started making YouTube videos at 12, including gaming videos. That’s how I got into editing, photos and marketing.

The blogger plan left me with useful skills.

By late 2022, I was already using AI to build websites and marketing campaigns. The tabs have been multiplying ever since.

03
MUSIC SCHOOL / NEGOTIATIONS DEPARTMENT

GUITAR. PIANO.
MOSTLY TALKING.

I played guitar and piano as a kid. Learning the basics bored me, so I spent most of the lesson chatting, then the last ten minutes looking interested.

Less music theory. More conversational endurance.

04
TONY STARK HAS A LOT TO ANSWER FOR

EVEN MY WINDOWS
GOT AN UPGRADE.

Tony Stark was my first superhero. I haven’t built the suit, but I did make my windows open and close automatically.

A modest start to the empire.

05
THINGS I’VE SOLD / THINGS I’VE TRIED

HOUSES. CARS.
A FEW OTHER THINGS.

In Ukraine, I worked in property and car sales, marketing, and whatever else I could get my hands on.

In London? I’m still writing that chapter.
Interesting ideas welcome.

06
THE CAREER PLAN HAD SEVERAL DRAFTS

JACKIE CHAN.
THEN BUSINESS.

First I wanted to be an actor like Jackie Chan. Then a biathlete. Eventually, business pulled me in.

Still waiting for the coronation.
Quite a bit of building to do first.

AN ENGINEER’S EARLY REVIEW

My grandad was an engineer. When I was a kid, he’d tell my parents and his colleagues: “Write down my grandson’s ideas. This kid is something else.”
Apparently, nobody took minutes. Still not a millionaire.

A SMALL DESIGN PROBLEM

My parents say I’ll fix a flaw even if I’m the only person who can see it. Unfortunately, I can see it.

MY MOST CONTROVERSIAL OPINION

Milk in tea? I have questions.
Sugar? I have more questions.

Anyway. You’ve met the websites.
Now you’ve met the person.

THE NEXT PAGE COULD BE YOURS.

GOT SOMETHING
in mind?

A website. An oddly specific idea.
A bigger future for Cortiva.
Let’s see where it goes.
